The 160 I purchased is OS7.1 with 10meg of ram.
Can be boosted to 14MB real RAM. Sorry to answer a question with a question to anyone else contributing: would RAM Doubler help? I'm using it on my PB170 -- 8MB max with RAM Doubler seems much better than VM, and therefore, I think it would do well for your 160.
I'd like to do simple email and dialup browsing. I don't expect java, flash etc to work. I'd actually be happy to leave it system 7.1.
My PB170 is on System 7.0.1(+tune-up), and I'm running Eudora Pro 3.0 and Netscape Navigator 2.02. I haven't wanted to bump up to 7.1 simply because I've got everything working on it just fine, and I haven't tried other browsers.
