I'm certainly no expert on matters such as these, but my experience with RealPlayer is that it is more trouble than it is worth. Every system I've ever put it on, from PeeCees to Macs, did funny things. I'm not a gambling person, but I'd best a dime against a doughnut hole that the problem has something to do with RealPlayer.
