Hello,
I have changed the hard drive from my powerbook 5300 to my 3400. It had the Global Village software already loaded on it. Now when it boots in system 8.6 (same system) I get the message at start up:
"Global Village fax software could not be loaded because your Macintosh is not set up for PCMCIA (card and socket service is not present).
Could someone please tell me what this means and how to fix the problem?
Thanks
Your pc card extensions are messed up. Check your extensions. You may have to do some sutom installing, the extensions may be different for the 3400 than the 5300.
