The classic macs all had 512x384 1 bit (black and white) screens. The
fastest were the SE/30 and Classic II with 16MHz 68030 processors. All
PowerBooks under consideration meet or surpass these specifications.

The PB170 is probably best suited for your needs, the 180 and 180c are
more powerful but probably not necessary for you. The hard drives are
small, but they can be upgraded or you could get an external SCSI hard
drive. RamDoubler is an excelent solution to limited RAM on those
machines.
