Hi,
"Need freePPP modem string for Megahertz PC card modem or link, please."
I am away from the 'office' and getting very slow connections (21600 instead of the potential 55200). There is no entry in freePPP under modem init string - what should it be? In the modem CP, I chose 'Megahertz .90' modem but I'm not sure if that's right either. I know I can get faster connections, way faster.
Have you gotten faster connections in the past with the same setup? If so then you may be limited by your phone line. For a number of technical reasons some lines simply can't be used faster than 26,400 bps.
