Thanks! ----------- Well, sort of. The bullet character on a Mac is obtained by holding the OPTION and SHIFT keys while typing the 8. Thus it is a "high-ASCII" character. The normal asterisk is ASCII code 42. Can't remember the code for the bullet, though it is something like 128+42.
