OK, last time I posted about 4 people emaild and said they had their quickcams working with OS 9.
I'm trying to replicate this success on my 1400/9.1. So far, no replication of successes :/
I am talking about the old serial quickcams, before Logitech bought them up; due to ebay greed and great prices (could YOU pass up a $5 color quickcam, when you were kinda looking for one anyway.. I could not) I have both greyscale and color serial cams. The sellers said they were working...
I have an 8.6 system on my desktop and tried briefly to get them going from there, but no go; I don't have an 8.1 system handy, I'd have to create one. I'm also wondering if my quicktime 5 might be part of the problem; I think (from the docs and readmes) that much of the video was rendered via quicktime.
thanks for thoughts and posts of "sure, 9.1 on my 1400" and the quickcam works fine ;)
