Pardon the ignorance but is a 1400C a SCSI HD? If so the answer lies at <http://online.century.co.jp/BittradeTest/e_shop/chb25int.html> ( perpeated from another posting last week. We checked on this particular IDE to SCSI adapter for our PB 540C - It fits but 11,000 Yen is about �60 Sterling and maybe $90. However- unlimited storage??

1400c is IDE/ATA interface. I was just wondering if compact flash was faster than the HD for virtual memory...
