Hello all. The powerbook 1400 has a revovable book cover that you can customize. Apple released a kit of 7 bookcovers, printed double sided, (apple part number 600-4101B) that you can use to dress up your mac. Also on the origional powerbook system cd there is a copy of a template for Claris Works/ Apple Works and other programs which will let you print your own bookcover. Mac Addict and others printed and distributed bookcovers in the monthly mags sometime in 1996-97.
In addition to the clear cover, a grey cover was also available. These come up on ebay often.
