Leaving aside the "Put a 166 processor in and see if it boots ..."

The 117 boards I have have the foll0wing on the ROM chips

"341S0203 LOW" and "341S0204 HIGH"

Whereas the 166 has

"341S0364 LOW" and "341S0365 HIGH"
