I'll reformat today. Bummer. The Kanga came with a 5 gig drive, but I replaced it with the 20 gig I had in my 3400c. Once it boots, everything is fine. In fact, it boots just fine with extensions off. The first extension that loads is Adaptec UDF Volume Access. Then it hangs.

Dan...I had a question that came to mind. Did it do the same thing with the 5 gig HD? If not then it's obviously an extension still left on your 20 gig. I also recently picked up a Kanga to add with my 240mhz 3400c and the Kanga is a lot speedier. Both are running IBM 5400RPM 32 gig HD's running 8.6 and 9.1 on two partitions no problem. Let us know after you reformat :)
