Hi Han, Congratulations on a resurrected 3400!Now you have two of them. My guess on that portion of the story was that, in the process of reassembling the PBook, you successfully reseated a RAM module or powerboard connection. Just a quick question: are you SURE that the unit IS running off the adapter? A colleague of mine cited similar symptoms (battery recognized, levels active, but no lightning bolt), only to find out that the adapter had gone out and his unit was actually running on and draining the battery.
