Most cardbus cards do not fit into the slots provided.
The one single most popular solution for wireless on classic mac notebooks is the Lucent / Proxim / Agere cards. They go under the name Orinoco or WaveLAN.
I use Proxim Orinoco on my 3400.

I have a 3400c 180 running OS8.6 and a cable modem. I would like to try a Wireless setup. I found two items on sale this month that I am wondering about. A SMC2635W wireless cardbus adapter for $10 A/R and a D-Link DI-614+ refurbished Wireless router for $10 A/R. The SMC is only talking about Microsoft.
Anyone have ideas?
