Good news but how ?and what with ? - Thanks in advance.

Intech's Hard Disk SpeedTools always seems to work when Drive Setup doesn't.

My UW-SCSI-to-UATA "Bridge" had a 60 GB Maxtor DiamondMax Plus and Drive
Setup would initialize it ... when I installed a 120 GB Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 6
(a completely different drive family) in its place, Drive Setup wouldn't
initialize it, but SpeedTools would.

The UW-SCSI-to-UATA "Bridge" is architecturally limited to 137 GB. Although
the product will accept UATA/133 drives, thorough "downward compatibility", the
drive-to-bridge interface is limited to 33 MB/sec because of the
drive-to-card cable design.

ACARD now has an Ultra 160 version of this product, and it will support LVD
and true UATA/133.

It's about fifteen bucks more expensive than the older bridge.
