A nice man with whom I've been conversing recently about the future of ClassicStumbler has clued me into what I think is a pretty good deal on Lucent WaveLAN Silver and Gold cards (aka ORiNOCO Silver/Gold).
Silvers cost $49 and Golds cost $59. (Ok, those are the prices he claimed, but on the website I'm only seeing Silvers for $58 - still an OK deal). They're new, of course.
Apparently they've also got a supply of fairly inexpensive pigtail antenna cables (Lucent-to-N).
FWIW, Silver/Gold cards are the ones I recommend the most and are probably the most Mac-compatible and highly used cards out there.
Sorry to sound like a sales person. To those that care, I have no affiliation with Invictus Networks whatsoever.
You can find them online at <http://www.invictusnetworks.com/>
At least one of their employees is personally involved with the Personal Telco project in Portland, OR, which I think is pretty neat...
Peace, Drew --
