Be careful. Check to make sure your DVD player will
also read recorded CD's or VCD's.
Some players will read commercially produced VCD
disks, but not CD-R based VCD's. If it plays a CD recorded out of
iTunes, then it should work.

I checked out posts about our apex ad-1100w on a
website about vcd, (I can't find the link right now) and it should play cd-r's. (Pretty cool for
something bought new for less than $60)
Apex dvd's rock. Cheap, and they'd probably play a pepperoni pizza if you stuffed it into the tray ;-)
