I need the Dayna Communicard Ethernet Adapter software for my 1400c w. MacOS 9.1, as the card does not function.
I did a Google search, and found only an old version, 1.2.1.
Another version, 2.3, is corrupted on the only site that carries it.
So, if anyone out there has a copy or knows where to get a newer OS 8.6 or 9.1 compatible version, please contact me off list.
I'm not sure where you can currently find it, but version 2.2 of the Dayna Communicard could be found in one of the extra folders of the OS 8.1 install disk. This version of the software works under 9.1 on my 1400.
Whatever version you do use (2.2 or 2.3), make sure you select version "2.0" for Card Services. The 1400's ROMs do not support Version 3.0 services.

Thank you for the info. I do have the 8.1 Install CD.
However, I have received conflicting information about the version 2.x, (flaky?), that I should avoid those versions, and that I should use version 1.2.
Does anyone have an opinion about this?
