Hey all,

I recently picked up an HP CD-Writer Plus Model M820 CDRW. It is a 4x4x20x
scsi which hooks up to a pcm/cia card. The card has two settings, 16bit and
CardBus. It is a nice compact writer not much bigger than a compact disk.

I am hooking this up to my 5300cs, it powers up fine and cd's spin. Trying
both card settings, the machine sees the card but does not recognize or
mount any cd's. Only seems to see the card however in the lower slot. So
far I haven't been able to find any special drivers, but I thought I'd check
to see if anyone here has made this writer work on their powerbooks and how
it was accomplished.

Thanks,

DAve
