... Another report: Regarding the success on the Skyline wifi card ... They are
great little cards...

With all this excitement over these cards I jumped in also and might be the only one
not having a wonderful time! The installation on my 3400c went apparently well and
everything seemed to work except the darn thing cannot maintain connection for more
than approximately 15 or 20 minutes. (Even when the WAP antenna is within 4 inches of
the Skyline) The card seems to go dead and cannot be detected by the computer. Its
little green lite suddenly flutters on and off and "poof" you're disconnected. The
signal strength meter goes away and is replaced by an excuse window stating that "no
card can be located." The only way to re-establish contact with the card is to reboot.
After that, all is forgiven (for 15 or 20 minutes - that is. Then it starts over
again.) I have downloaded the latest drivers on the web page and it did not seem to
help. The problem is very intermittant and I have not been able to find a specific
action which causes it to happen. It just seems to switch off whenever it chooses.
Does anybody have any ideas? I would like to join those of you in the happy group.
