I have 8.6 on a CD. Can I boot off of a SCSI drive and load the os this way.
Should.
Does it matter it is not a powerbook CD?
Should not, with the caveat that I know some iMac system cd's with 8.6 give problems for some reason. Mine was an 8.5 installer from a different powerbook that I then applied the 8.6 update to.
Do I need ramdoubler or
will the virtual in the OS be adequate?
Apple's VM under 8.6 is better than RamDoubler's.
