Thought it'd be nice to have "dongle-less" ethernet for my 1400, and looked on eBay for an internal, proprietary-slot ethernet card. Found one.

With over a day left it's already up to $36 -- nearly half of what I paid for my 1400!!

Is this common? There's not much info in the "completed search" section of eBay that I turned up easily. Just seems awfully steep, and surprisingly more than I'd paid for wireless on the same machine!

Looks like another reason to stalk eBay for good PB 1400 packages with the whole slew, from CD-ROM to power supply to ethernet to RAM -- to G3, etc etc etc. You can really make out buying that way. Piecing together seems to equal crazy 'spensive money-wise [if less so time-wise].

Thanks,

Ruffin Bailey
