I joined this List last week after I bought a PowerBook 3400c from the LEM SWAP List. It showed up on Friday evening and I've been playing with it. Its got a 3 gig HD, Floppy & 12X CD, 240 MHz processor and 144 Megs of RAM. I've wanted one of these since April 1997 but was reluctant to shell out an OUTRAGEOUS amount of money.
I asked about accessories on the SWAP List and was offered a Targus carry bag and a BookEndz 3400 (which are still in the mail) and two brand new Macintosh Kanga G3 batteries (showed up Friday). According to the little battery utility the charged battery is good for over 3 hours. Do I need to drain and recharge the battery a few times to "condition" it or is that a thing of the past ???
