Yes, this used to be embarrasing when you were in
front of an audience and hooked up to a projector.
You often nedde to restart to get it to recognize
the alternative "screen" (=projector). BUT there was
a tips in a magazine, on how too avoid the
memory-check at startup. I have looked hard through
old magazines, but been unable to find that tips.
Anyone how remeber how to speed up boot time by
dropping some of the pretests?
