Ok, I goofed! I need to know the key combinations for starting up on another
startup disk, rather than the one that's set for the startup
disk...please!!!

Uh oh! That sounds bad...

"C" will start from the built-in CD-ROM if you've got one.

Apple-Option-Shift-Delete will boot from the first bootable disk the ROM finds on the SCSI bus. (Apple-Option-Shift-Delete-<number> will boot from that specific SCSI ID that corresponds to <number>.)

Floppy disks don't require a key combination, of course. The Mac OS ROM always automatically scans the floppy drive _before_ booting from the startup disk (that's the heritage of the old floppy disk based Macs).

Apple-Option-X-O will boot a Mac Classic from the disk image burned into it's ROM.

Option on a "New World" (iMac and later) Mac will scan all available buses for startup disks, display them on screen, and let you pick which one to boot from (real handy for things like FireWire drives).

Peace,
Drew
