my other recent purchases
iMac 233 rev. 2 in stunning condition $120
PowerBook Kanga (all perfect) $140
iMac 400DV $160 (admittedly the guy thought the screen was phucked but it turned out to be the firmware / OS X thing.
Beige G3 266 DT $60 and Beige G3 300 MT $90
Not to mention my buddy here on the desk, an MDD 2x1GHz with 1.25GB RAM and 200GB HD and DVD/RW for $850
But, yes, they're not all that cheap over here. I have hunted around and been quick when the chance has presented itself. I must also confess that it is beginning to be an addiction as I sell some of them for a profit. The Kanga went for $330...
My aim is to own or have owned one of every Mac or Apple ever made.
I am missing about 4 or 5 models not including some of the very latest.
Basically I have never owned:
- Apple I (fat chance of ever...) - Apple IIGS - Quadra 900/950 - TAM (I know where there is one...) - Quicksilver - iBook (both models) - G5
Other than that I have owned (or do own) one of every Apple or Mac ever made, yes including Lisa, 128K etc.
I will add that an LC630 constitutes a Performa 630, cause I'm not that anal... ;o)
