In fact, the only other IRC clients I know that are Classic compatible are AthenaIRC, ShadowIRC (which doesn't work), and Ircle. I despise Ircle (although I've heard earlier versions are actually pretty good) and I could only find a PPC version of AthenaIRC. Also, I couldn't find an early, 68k-compatible version of Ircle available anywhere.
So, does anyone have suggestions? I had enough problems sending ShadowIRC to the PowerBook. My OS X desktop doesn't want to see it on file sharing so I had to use web sharing, and I had to stuff it into an archive to work but Aladdin is a bunch of retards and Stuffit 8 (the only one available for download) can't compress in .sit, only .sitx.... you get the picture, eventually I found a direct download link that didn't involve going through a bunch of pages that crashed Netscape 2, and got it on the PowerBook only to find it doesn't work.
