Greetings. I'm trying to run down System 7.1 for my PB180 (currently with 7.6.1 installed), but I want to try the free 7.5.3 > 7.5.5 option first. I've downloaded all 19 disk images of 7.5.3 and the Net Install.sea version of 7.5.5 onto my eMac's hard drive from Apple. I was going to burn these onto a CD. But I don't have a boot disk for the external CD-ROM drive I'm using with my PB. So please refresh my memory on pre-OS 8 System installations. I downloaded the 7.5 Network Access Disk which I would DiskCopy to a floppy, thinking I could use this as a boot disk for installing first 7.5.3 and then 7.5.5. Am I on the right track here?

Seems to me I recall that the 19 images of 7.5.3 recombine on the hard drive prior or during installation. But I don't remember how I start this process. I also downloaded the 4 images of 7.0.1 in case I should start with an earlier version of System 7. Any clarification/help would be most appreciated. Thanks!
