A while back we upgraded our in-house PB 540C to a PowerPC by adding a
117MHz upgrade. It works beautifully but recently I had cause to check the
Apple system profiler for some data and to my absolute surprise it now tells
me that it is a Powerbook 2300 series???
Anyone got any ideas on how it managed to metamorphose itself ?- would be
really grateful for comments as we are about to sell it with its system
accessories and I would like to be able to answer this question.I've checked
a works manual on the 2300 and they look nothing like each other.
Many thanks,
Gerald Jennings
