I believe a higher capacity, faster HD, as fast as will work with your ATA
driver set, may be a better solution than even a CF card. According to
several sources, passing I/O data through the card's NAND gates is slower
than a properly organized (defragged) HD, i.e., the lookup rates are faster
in a CF card (than the standard HD), but the data transfer rates are slower
(sorry, I don't have the info sources handy at the momnent, but I can
probably find them if necessary).

Like everything, it's a tradeoff. I don't know if there are significant
differences with the new, faster CF cards, though.

Be sure to restart after the installation and VM assignment of the card,
then check "About This Computer" in the Apple Menu to see if it's working.

HTH,
Ken N.
