Hi, Malcolm,
        Thanks for the info, both on this and the Wallstreet a while back
(that one was pretty simple once I got into it).  I was afraid the problem
with the L2 cache might be hidden in the Lombard mobo and that processor
replacement might not fix it.  They are so pricey that I was shrinking from
biting that bullet!
