I got a VST Zip 100 for my PB 1400cs. Way cool, though I wish I had held out for a bigger size. Anyway, I have a weird problem. If I put the PB to sleep, then I awaken her and insert a zip disk, it does not mount. SCSI Probe sees nothing hooked up. When I used the Apple System Profiler to look for it, the Profiler quits, just as a window with "devices and volumes" is about to appear (error type 3). But if I restart, everything is fine, and SCSI Probe sees the drive and so does Apple Profiler. What gives?

Another thing, odd, but seemingly harmless, some disks mount with a plain line drawing type icon. Others mount with a cool 3d color icon. It is not pasted on, either.
