Hey guys, What's the Max memory anyone has been able to do with a Wall St. G3?
Most people say the best is to put in 2 SODIMM units (low profile for the under-slot) of 256 Meg. each to get a total of 512 Meg. Is that accurate?
Where does eveyone think the best place to go to get inexpensive memory for this unit?
This question is better asked on the PowerBook G3 list.
I'm writing this on a Wallstreet with 320Mb (256 + 64). I haven't done it (yet) but AFAIK you can put two 256Mb SODIMMs in it for a max of 512Mb.
The two places I'd recommend for memory are www.macsales.com (Other World Computing) and www.memoryx.net. Usually my preference is for MemoryX. They have a nice website that lists most Macs individually so it's easy to get the right memory.
