Eric,

    Although the 3400 is cardbus compliant, the card cge is not unless it
has been modified by MCE.  There is an eject hole similar to the floppy
drives by the cardbus slots, but the computer must be shutdown.  There
various physical mods listed in the archives to allow specific cards to be
used in the 3400.  To get the drive to mount, I restart after everything is
in place and only use the lower slot.
