I've had that happen on my 520c occasionally--it seems to happen when I have a program like The Tilery active. (The Tilery is a shareware launcher program from semicolon software--the same people who put out Solitaire Til Dawn.) When I disable it, the problem goes away. Are you running anything specific when the disappearing act happens?
