Hi Folks, I'm starting to think my ol' Portable might be in deep trouble. The battery having long since died, in the past I ran this machine in the two popular modes that seem tallied about on the 'Net; the 9vdc power supply going in on the PRAM battery plus the original Portable power supply, and the 9vdc transistor PRAM battery installed with a Powerbook 150 PS plugged in. Both seemed to work... ...for a while. Now, the machine is hanging during powerup, frequently failing to even start. Then, while it's running, it locks up and/or reboots in some applications (my astronomy and terminal apps seem especially prone to this). Admittedly, the machine has not been used much lately, and has been stored for about 4 months. Any guesses? Is this a harbinger of impending doom?
