An Apple PR release has this to say about improvements in OS 8.6 (as compared to 8.5)
Advanced power management technologies that increase PowerBook battery life by more than one hour on PowerBook computers;

I just had a good laugh when I read that. When I upgraded from 8.5.1 on my Wallstreet to 8.6, I didn't notice an extra HOUR suddenly appearing in my battery runtime! 5 - 15%, maybe. ;-)

Peace,
Drew
