Thanks. How can I free up more memory? I'm running RAM Doubler already with 20mb physical so that gets me to 40mb. Should I close some extensions? If so, how exactly do I do that?

Sounds like a bad LCD. You could try swapping the data cable with one from
another machine.
My second issue is that I can not run JPEGView 3.3.1. I'm running OS 8.1 and JPEG View crashes at launch with Error Code 3. Any clues on how I can fix this? I'm new to these older Mac OS.
Isn't that no enough RAM ?
