That's interesting. I didn't know the OS would have an effect. I was running the 8.5.1 on the 1400 because it uses about 10 fewer megs than the 8.6. But I thought it was strange that I could be doing the EXACT same thing on the two computers and the 1400's speedometer would be pegged while the 3400's would be comfortably in the middle.
