Dear Bill & others--

Today the power cord arrived for the 160. But now I'm not sure if I'm a
moron or what (and the guy I got it from is no help--he only answers half
of any email I send and apparently the computer is from is
brother-in-law)...? I plug it in and I can hear stuff going on when I turn
it on, and the screen is lit up, but there is nothing ON the screen that I
can see. I've tried messing with the brightness and contrast sliding
thingys, but it doesn't help. If I do apple commands (like apple-F) I can
HEAR something going on, but nothing on the screen.

Suggestions about what might be wrong or what I ought to do next? I don't
really want to give this guy any decent feedback if the thing doesn't
really run, but I don't want to complain if I'm just being stupid.

grace :)
