Well, It works. Here's how I did it: Following jerry's instructions, I deleted and reinstalled the software for the card, rebooted, and crossed my fingers... I plugged it in, and... ...it froze... and I was pissed! I had become sick of the entire issue, so I (slightly violently) removed the PC card by the block antenna... ...and it thawed... My computer started responding again, so I decided to see if it would stop when I reinserted the card. It didn't. I reconfigured the TCP settings, and fired up the World's Worst Web browser: IE 4. Success!
