I use a Reno also; it came with a extension; can't even say if it came with the 
player, but I have never had a problem w/ any machine of mine (PB 100 - 3400c) 
recognizing the CD-rom drive..

The ONLY complaint I have is that it takes the dang extension a l-o-n-g time to load 
up during startup! No matter the OS or machine, at least 3 times as long as the 
initial system extensions like Appletalk and such.

I think it is called "CD-ROM EXtension v.???" or something...

Anyway, I will be glad to shoot U a copy tonite if you still need it; let me know
