Any difference in speed with the MacOS 8.5 side? Any chance of running MacBench or Norton tests to check if your "feelings" are quantifiable? I guess this would be a pain as you'd have to go back to a single partition, install each OS and run the tests, then re-partition. Sorry I asked ... I also assume you mean 64MB RAM, and not 60MB. As a 5300cs owner, this is very interesting. It makes me reconsider putting in a lager HD. I've been reluctant to spend any more on it, as I paid too much for it initially ($280) - although I've already bought: 32MB RAM ($40?) an external battery charger ($20) a Proxim Skyline WiFi card ($30) a CF/PCMCIA adapter ($13) and a Panasonic CD ROM drive ($20) But I wouldn't be adverse to a *good* deal on a 5300c display. :-) (I'd probably be better off buying a 5300c outright - or even a 3400!) I know, it's a sickness. :-) Regards, Bob Eye Dallas, TX -- PowerBooks is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
