In Paragraph 1, Line 1, of email response 2 to the post "What did I fry" that you didn't read I acknowledged (rather playfully with the word "Woops!") that i was quite wrong and somehow missed that the original poster said Lombard.

I must not have added my smileys :) to denote that Im always a peppy person and mean nothing by the rudeness..

As for the Cardbus thing...

The original poster of the Wireless 1400 topic mentioned nothing about Cardbus. After someone suggested that it might be a Cardbus card, I pointed out that it couldn't possibly be since the original poster said he already had the card in the slot and showing up on the desktop. However, even after my post people kept insisting it must be a Cardbus card. This was worrying me that the original poster might become confused and nobody would solve the actual problem.

And they kept coming and coming. Cardbus was being mentioned by everybody in every response. It started to become annoying my mailbox filling with emails talking of Cardbus when that had nothing to do with anything. It was as if nobody was paying any attention to my posts about it not possibly being a Cardbus card - save for the original poster.

It wasn't Cardbus!!!! LOL

I was just aggrivated - sorry if you took offense to that but you must see my point.

I don't mean to be rude (and do not want to start a flame war), as you did point him to the other list (the list he should have been on), but I do want to point out one thing. Paragraph 2, line 1 of the original posters email. I have seen you be a little rude dealing with other emails ("wireless card - cardbus rant"), and simply wanted to point out that everyone makes mistakes (not realizing that cardbus does not fit in noncardbus slots, posting to the wrong list, not reading the post properly, etc).

I'm sorry if this came across offensive or rude, but I didn't like the way you handled the cardbus issue. We need to try and leave the sarcasm out if we intend on helping with problems.

Hi,

I see that as on the PCI list trying to get fast responses in a busy day often causes communication errors.

It's nice to see them being discussed in a civilized manner.

And I'll try not to forget the smiley's !
