I have recently acquired a nice PB 3400c/180, OS 8.1, 3GB HD, 32MB RAM, floppy. I also won a PB 3400 cd-rom module on eBay for this machine. The cd-rom module appears to be OK, and is recognized by the 3400, but for some reason, CDs do not appear on the desktop. I have tried removing the module, zapping the PRAM and reinstalling the drive, all to no avail. I am wondering why CDs aren't being recognized. Any thoughts on this issue? TIA, Heather
