I bought one from them on a 1400cs last fall before I sold it. It was pretty easy-just hooked the cable in (the upgrade kit came with a cable and LCD). Looked a lot better than my old one (which had begun to get really dim).
My 1400cs was a 117, so I'm thinking that they'll work fine in either--the folks there told me it didn't matter which 1400 series you had, so I'm thinking it'll be fine for any....
