Hi everybody,
I'm planning on selling my old Powerbook since I don't really use it anymore
(just for some light browsing and a few old games), but I'm wondering how
much could I get for it? I thought I'd ask you guys. The PB is NOT in mint
condition, so maybe it'll be for parts. A short description follows:
Powerbook 3400c / 240 / 128Mb RAM
The computer works very good and the screen is perfect, BUT...
1. I need to move a bit the powercord for it to work, I guess it has a loose
wire inside the cable, but with a little bit of moving around it always
starts up.
2. The battery will not charge, I don't know if the battery's dead or it's
something else.
3. It will not hold the correct date, maybe the PRAM battery needs
replacing.
4. The CD module works, but the opening mechanism doesn't, so I have to use
a paper clip to open the drawer.
5. The little doors in the back and side are missing.
I'm planning on putting it on ebay soon. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
Gabriel
You should be able to easily get between $100.00~160.00 for it, based on
my experiences.
