Here's the stats:
powerbook 1400c/166 (233 mHz G3 ViMage processor installed
64 megs of RAM
OS 9.1

Everything on it seemed to be working well, until I brought it to school a couple days
ago and booted it up on battery power, only to have it lose power immediately after
start up, and not be able to wake it up again. So I plugged it in to the wall nearby,
with no response. Eventually I hit the power button in the back, and was able to
reboot, only for it to go immediately to sleep again after start up. I went through
this several times, and the powerbook wouldn't respond at all, so I assumed that the
power management board had gone bad or I needed a new AC adapter.
SO I brought it home, thinking I'd give it another shot before I canibalized another
1400 for parts, and oddly enough enough it booted up just fine and stayed on. It's
worked perfectly for the last couple days.
Any ideas what';s goin on here?
Brian
