Well, I have one, and have "used" it on an ethernet network using an 
Asante MicroEN/SC. It plugs into the SCSI port and gives you an RJ-45 
ethernet port.

Now, the real question is to find software that can get/send email (older 
versions of Claris Emailer may work) and do whatever else you want. It is 
fun in a "look what I can do" sort of way, but for most Internet work it 
is a bit like watching grass grow!
