My 230 won't run when inserted n the dock. The dock powers up, at least the PS fan spins, and it accepts the 230 by slowly drawing it in when inserted. But there is a little kind of 'ping' sound at that point and that's it. If I push the power button, there is the same 'brrriip' sound and nothing. The 230 boots fine on its own, and except for the keyboard being shot and it booting into an 'extensions off' scenario, seems to work quite well. What I want to do is change the OS but I need the floppy and scsi on the dock to do that. Is there a micro switch somewhere in the dock that is preventing the 230 from running? The top is very loosely set when closed, seemingly with nothing holding it on. Thanks for any help anyone might offer.
