Lister,

Finally got ahold of some battery reconditioning utilities for my
280c's.. The problem is when I plug either battery into either laptop, and
click on battery level in the control strip I get an error message that
tells me there is no battery present.
I've cleaned the contacts on both the batteries and the laptops.. So are
these batteries FUBAR'D? Or is there a step I'm missing..

TIA,
-nathan

Its possible that the duo wont use a battery any more. I have about 5 duo mobos that refuse to see batteries, even ones that are known to be good.

Or the batteries could be really really dead. Try leavin one in the duo for a while and see if it gets seen after a while.
